Marlow

Founded on 22 November 1870, Marlow were among the pioneers of association football and are one of the few surviving clubs to have competed in the inaugural FA Cup of 1871-72. Marlow drew players from the local community and operated as an amateur club, they hold a unique place in football history as the only club from that first competition still in existence that has never played in the Football League. This page records Marlow's competitive history and achievements during the formative years of organised football.
